There’s no better way to welcome springtime than sipping an ice-cold craft beer on the balconies of our Clarendon apartments. You can safely enjoy refreshing brews while supporting local craft breweries from your Arlington home with takeout, delivery, and online ordering options. Here’s where we will be filling up our growlers this spring:
The Brew Shop
Located downstairs from our apartments, The Brew Shop is a woman-owned business. They take their name to heart, offering a wide array of locally sourced beer, wine, coffee, and home brewing supplies. They offer curbside pickup and online ordering for an easy shopping experience. Additionally, you can fill a growler with any beer on The Brew Shop’s tap list.
Audacious Aleworks specializes in small-batch ales and keeps a rotating menu of over fifteen beers on tap for thirsty patrons. Pick up a seasonal brew like Beach Body Lager or a light Hefeweizen to get in the mood for summer. Call ahead or place your order at the Falls Church taproom.
Lake Anne Brew House
Celebrate Lake Anne Brew House‘s fifth anniversary with their customer favorite, the slightly sweet and malty Behind | Maibock. Brewed from German hops and balanced with the flavors of fresh berries and melon, this lager was made to be enjoyed alfresco. Walk-in orders are available or you can order online for pickup.
Arrowine & Cheese
Known for their hand-selected, affordable craft beer, wine, cheese, and charcuterie, Arrowine & Cheese will fill growlers up to 64 oz. If you don’t have a growler already, they also have 16, 32, and 64 oz sizes available for purchase. The current draft beer list is online. If you’re undecided, then ask the shop’s resident beer monger for their recommendation.
Try pairing your delicious craft beer growler from one of these breweries with the best pizza in Arlington.
